Revitalise Jubilee Lodge hosts celebration in honour of 40th year. Our holiday centre in Chigwell celebrates a milestone birthday.

Throughout the evening, guests were invited to journey back to the charity's humble beginnings, courtesy of a special Memory Lane display, before going on to enjoy live music in the centre's courtyard & a specially prepared barbeque.

The location upon which Revitalise Jubilee Lodge stands is particularly special as the centre holds a rich history, spanning right back to the foundation of the charity at Grange Farm on 8 July 1963. The current centre where the celebrations were held was built on the same site in 1978.

Speaking of celebrations, Revitalise CEO Chris Simmonds commented: "It was truly heartwarming to see many of our dedicated supporters gathered together at the very place where our charity blossomed all those years ago."

The result was confirmed following a recent inspection of Netley Waterside House, which noted that "guests were cared for by staff who were kind & caring & were treated with dinity & respect".
